In september kondigde Chemours zijn intentie aan om manieren te zoeken om concrete actie te ondernemen ten behoeve van onze omgeving. Sindsdien zijn we verkennende en constructieve gesprekken aangegaan met de gemeenten Dordrecht, Papendrecht, Sliedrecht en Molenlanden.
Op basis van deze gesprekken ontwikkelt Chemours samen met de gemeenten een plan met concrete acties om de bezorgdheden in de omgeving aan te pakken betreffende het consumeren van voedsel uit moestuinen in de buurt van de Chemours-locatie in Dordrecht, en het nemen van maatregelen met betrekking tot het gebruik van het zwemwater de Merwelanden.
