Chemours has made a commitment to supplier diversity as a business strategy that displays commitment by Chemours to equal opportunity, satisfies the voice of Chemours customers, complies with all laws and regulations, and sustains the economic development of diverse firms in the communities where they are located and the economy as a whole.

It is the policy of Chemours to identify and include small (veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, HUBZone, disadvantaged-owned businesses) and diverse (women and minority owned) businesses among its sources of supply and to assist in the development of these businesses into competitive suppliers in accordance with Chemours core values. Inclusion of historically black colleges and universities, minority institutions and the AbilityOne program are also an objective.

To be invited to compete for Chemours business, as with all suppliers, a small or diverse supplier must meet qualification requirements including industry expertise, innovation of services/products/goods, the capability needed to deliver, competitiveness, sound financial standing, operational and safety standards and adherence to Chemours values.

A diverse business is a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, physically located in the United States or its trust territories, which is owned, operated and controlled by minority group members. "Minority group members" are United States citizens who are African American, Asian Indian, Asian Pacific, Hispanic, Native American, Service Disabled Veteran, Veteran and Woman. Ownership means the business is at least 51% owned by such individuals and the management and daily operations are controlled by those minority group.
