It provides information to guide employees so that their business conduct is consistent with the company's ethical standards and to improve the understanding of the company's ethical standards among customers, suppliers and others outside the company. Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets out our expectations relative to our values and we request and expect our suppliers to adhere to it.
When we select suppliers, we consider total cost, quality, risk, sustainability and innovation.
We have our suppliers' sustainability rated in four areas -environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement- and we perform continuous reviews and assessments to ensure our suppliers are committed to improve, as we do. EcoVadis is our partner in business sustainability rating.

Chemours has made a commitment to supplier diversity as a business strategy that displays commitment by Chemours to equal opportunity, satisfies the voice of Chemours customers, complies with all laws and regulations, and sustains the economic development of diverse firms in the communities where they are located and the economy as a whole.
It is the policy of Chemours to identify and include small (veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, HUBZone, disadvantaged-owned businesses) and diverse (women and minority owned) businesses among its sources of supply and to assist in the development of these businesses into competitive suppliers in accordance with Chemours core values. A diverse business is a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, physically located in the United States or its trust territories, which is owned, operated and controlled by minority group members. "Minority group members" are United States citizens who are African American, Asian Indian, Asian Pacific, Hispanic, Native American, Service Disabled Veteran, Veteran and Woman. Ownership means the business is at least 51% owned by such individuals and the management and daily operations are controlled by those minority group.
