Using Capstone™ Products in Fire Suppressants
Each Capstone™ fluorosurfactant is designed to fit different fire suppression applications. These products can enhance certain attributes and are particularly useful in reducing surface tension and distributing an aqueous film over the entire hydrocarbon surface.
Other attributes include:
- Fulfilling the need for an alcohol-resistant agent, which suppresses polar liquid fires
- Reducing the fuel pick up and the flammability of fire suppressant products
- Improving containment of fuel vapor to maximize burnback resistance
