Chemours is focused on creating an inspired, inclusive society both inside and outside of our walls, paying special attention to our three Corporate Responsibility Commitment (CRC) areas: Empowering Employees, Vibrant Communities, and Safety Excellence. In 2020, we saw urgent needs come to the fore, and we listened closely to the needs of our people. While our employee safety groups continued implementing new ways to further reduce plant injuries and keep operations open, our employee resource groups (ERGs) helped us expand our definition of employee safety to include psychological health. Additionally, our stakeholder communications helped us create programming that will change talent development in the US chemistry industry. A turbulent year saw us listening harder than ever—and making changes that will endure.
