Named for Dr. Roy J. Plunkett, who discovered fluoropolymers 80 years ago, the Plunkett Awards recognize the innovation and value of products, technologies, and applications enabled by the products that The Chemours Company makes.
Awards recognize advancements in products and applications across the Chemours fluoropolymer portfolio including:
- Teflon™ fluoropolymers, coatings, resins, finishes, and additives
- Krytox™ lubricants
- Viton™ fluoroelastomers
- Nafion™ ion exchange materials

A panel of experts evaluate submissions for their degree of innovation, sustainability impact, breadth of use, and commercial significance.
