R-706 possesses a combination of exceptionally high gloss and excellent exterior durability that is unique. Because of its silica surface treatment, R-706 provides better film cure in acid-catalyzed coatings than nonsilica-treated grades.
R-706 can be used in both interior and exterior coatings where this combination of gloss and durability combined with excellent dispersability and blue undertone is of value. As a universal grade that performs well in many applications, R-706 may also provide benefit by allowing for TiO2 grade consolidation.
TS-6200 was specifically designed for the most challenging durability applications and as such is well suited for most exterior applications, including exterior industrial marine coatings. TS-6200 has unsurpassed chalk resistance and gloss retention, assuring maximum coatings life with minimal gloss or color change. It is easy to disperse and can be formulated with less dispersant than other superdurable pigments, allowing for both a cost savings and improved finished film properties. Because of its silica surface treatment, TS-6200 provides better film cure in acid-catalyzed coatings than nonsilica-treated grades.
