Cut dough ball in half. On a floured surface, roll half of it ¼-inch thin. Stamp out stars with cookie cutters. Pull 1- inch pieces from remaining dough ball rolling it into little balls 1-inch or desired size. In a deep-sided skillet with Teflon™ nonstick coating, preheat oil on medium to 350° (tiny bubbles form around wood skewer-dip test). Add in batches; cooking a few minutes to light brown & puffy for bombs and crispy for stars, turning once. Remove with slotted spoon to paper towel. Brush honey onto stars; add sprinkles. Shake balls in cinnamon/sugar mix in paper bag or fill with chocolate, jam or other.
