Cinnamon & Salted Caramel Griddle Pan Toasties Recipe

You can also switch out this flavored buttered toast recipe with plain butter for everyday toast. Cooking on a griddle pan instead of a toaster allows for pre-buttering and so browns your toast to a sweet caramelized flavor and texture. Place on a hot griddle over medium heat -- both sides -- about the time it takes in the toaster.




1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

8-10 slices sandwich bread of choice

Coarse salt, optional

Smoosh butter with vanilla, sugar, cinnamon. Spread generously and evenly both sides of the bread. Place on a hot griddle pan with Teflon™ nonstick coating over medium heat. Cook until golden brown on each side. Sprinkle with salt and serve.
