Snappy Apple Chips and Dip Recipe

Servings: 4-6 ounces

Make homemade apple chips easily by using the new Oven Crisper Basket with its carefree coating by Teflon™ nonstick. Great for lunch boxes, salads, or eating right out of the bowl with or without a dip. Cleanup is a mere passing under the faucet spray.




3 Gala apples, unpeeled

½ teaspoon cinnamon

¾ cup Greek-style yogurt

⅓ cup prepared caramel sauce

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 225°. Slice apples thin with a sharp knife or mandolin. Cut through the core; seeds drop off naturally. Mix apples with cinnamon, tossing gently. Place apples onto 2 large crisper baskets coated with Teflon™ nonstick for 1½ hours (more for crispier). Chips are done when apples shrink & edges curl. Remove from oven & cool a few minutes before serving. Mix remaining ingredients to make dip.
