Rustic-Crust Cranberry Pear Pie Recipe
Anyone can make this rustic tart. Fill premade pie dough with tenderized fruit ingredients, fold and bake!
Preheat oven to 375°. In a large skillet coated with Teflon™ nonstick, combine filling ingredients; cook on medium heat 5 minutes to tenderize; set aside. Brush some oil onto center of a baking pan coated with Teflon™ nonstick; add the dough. Brush center of dough with caramel sauce. Mound cranberry mixture and fold edges over fruit to create a 2-inch crust, pleating as you go. Brush crimped rim with egg wash. Bake 35 minutes or till crust is golden. Cool in pan and cut into wedges.
