Basic Soft Egg Crust Recipe

Servings: 1 crust

From breakfast to dessert the possibilities are endless beginning with a cookie cutter to create an edible base for salads or fruits; a pan pizza; or a savory or sweet rollover like the one here where we filled with soft cream cheese, jam, chocolate and nuts.



3 eggs

½ cup whole milk

¼ cup all-purpose

1 tablespoon olive oil

In a medium bowl, mix the eggs with the milk. Add the flour and oil. Pour into a toaster oven sized pan (7x10-inch) with Teflon™ nonstick coating. Bake in toaster or traditional oven 350° for 20 minutes or until set (using half to 2/3 batter and baking 12 minutes for rollover crust). Remove from the oven and rest a minute or two before using.
