BBQ Turkey Breast with Sauted Apple Salsa
After making up the salsa in this colorful skillet, we decided to use the skillet as a serving plate because the color says fall and Thanksgiving!
In a small skillet with Teflon® nonstick coatings, sauté 1 cup of the apples with the onions, just until the onions soften. Add the green pepper and then splash in the wine and cook for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and add the remaining salsa ingredients.
Rub the turkey breast with the oil and season with salt and pepper. Spread the sauce overtop and grill on a BBQ pan with Teflon® nonstick coatings. When cooked through (and internal temperature registers 165°) remove and let sit for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with the salsa.
