Farm Market Tomato Sauce

Take a look as these smashing tomatoes! Actually, you’ll want to burst them open, not smash, and cook into a frenzy of roasted sauce. Skins and all.



2 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 pints ripe heirloom cherry tomatoes, stems removed and washed
2 tablespoons mixture fresh chopped oregano and basil
Salt and pepper

Farm Market Tomato Sauce recipe 


Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan coated with Teflon™ non-stick. Sauté the garlic over a medium heat and remove to a small saucer. Add the tomatoes whole and cover the pan. Cook, shaking the pan often, until all of the tomatoes open and soften -- at least 8 minutes. Mix in the roasted garlic, fresh oregano basil, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
